Yes, it is indeed a crocheted soup bowl. Obviously not. But it looks like a bowl.
It's actually my second attempt at a cocoon for a baby. The first time, I thought I started right, but it's more of a wool potato sack. I didn't unravel it so that I can make a bag. I thought this was going horribly wrong, and the intended recipient who asked if I could make a cocoon may still think so. It also may be a little big. I'm really not sure.
I really hope it turns out though. Anyone else want an ugly blanket because I know I have the ability to do that.
