The Red Sea is starting to part

Although not near as elaborate as one Jenny and I built about 12 years ago, Rachel and I are assembling a parting of the Red Sea in the hall leading to our classroom at church. This is what we have thus far. The lighter blue paper isn't cooperating. It's too thick and won't fold over like waves to well.

We are finishing tomorrow, so I'll have to post pictures of the finished sea.

Since the small classroom across the hall is not being used currently, Rachel inspired me that when I run out of space in my current room to decorate (it won't take much longer), I should put the Promised Land across the hall on the other side of the Red Sea. I just might have to do it!
