This weekend from Lewisville

Image
This weekend we headed up to Lewisville High School for their craft show. Here's what we've learned about spring events... no one shops. We love doing high school events, but the last two haven't been productive or profitable. It's a shame because high school events are AWESOME in the fall. It was an across the board problem. Vendors did a lot of talking to each other, but at least we learned from others that spring is hard. You don't know unless you try!

Always something new to show off

This weekend we ( The Crafty Dad and Daughter ) were in Flower Mound for the Marcus Marquettes craft show. Our newest item to show off (and sold within an hour an a half) was this horseshoe Christmas tree. It's pretty awesome.  We had a mini family reunion of sorts. Every time Peyton and I went off together to go looking around, we ran into one of my cousins. Well, it happened two times that we walked off in a row. It's always nice to see familiar faces, even if I did tag one of them on Facebook so that they would come.
