Liz Johnson's Navy Seal Noel

Image
For several years in a row, I read a Christmas book during the month of December. I have been so slammed with crafting, that I haven't read for fun in what seems like forever. Hopefully, after finishing my special orders, I'll be able to sit down and read Navy Seal Noel by Liz Johnson, and post a review. It's at the top of my ever growing to be read pile. About Navy Seal Noel : A LETHAL REUNION  Abducted by a drug cartel, scientist Jessalynn McCoy's orders are simple—release a deadly toxin, or be killed. Trapped with no options, she's desperate for help…she just never expected it from Will Gumble. The boy who let her down years ago is now a navy SEAL. She trusts his skills, his experience. Yet trusting him is a struggle. Will's Christmas wish is to heal their damaged relationship and get them to safety. But time is running out and someone is on to their escape plans. Any mistake could mean the difference between facing the holidays together or ...

I just thought I could put the paint away

I thought I was done with painting and onto crocheting requests, but after special orders this weekend at our Crafty Dad and Daughter booth, and deciding what to do for Christmas gifts, look what I'm doing again! I can't wait for you to see some of the things I'm working on for these special orders! I will share them soon.

I Will Call Upon the Lord

Image
There's a reason why some of them are making a face. I won't get into it. Let's just say kids will be kids. ;) I Will Call Upon the Lord By Michael O’Shields Used by permission. CCLI # 1132191 I will call upon the Lord, (women echo) Who is worthy to be praised (echo) So shall I be saved from my enemies (echo) Chorus The Lord liveth, and blessed be the Rock, And let the God of our salvation be exalted. (repeat) I will call upon the Lord… (end in unison) I realized after they sang this verse that I have actually sung another verse to this song, but it's not in the official lyrics found online.  Jesus Christ who died for me,  (echo) And He took away my sins  (echo) I will live with Him for eternity  (echo)

Our last show for the year, but still have product available!

Image
Yesterday, the IOOF Holiday Market was our last show of the year, but we still have product available! Share with your friends! Visit our Facebook page for holiday deals! I will also have crocheted items - and will make upon request if I have yard available in what you like (my living room overfloweth) if you would like something specific made (not like a king-size blanket, of course, at least by Christmas).

Not sure I'm into the show biz

One more show tomorrow for the Christmas season. I'm not sure I'm into all these shows. I'm crocheting as much as I can get to tonight to sale tomorrow. I'm ready for life to not revolve around crafting! Maybe I will have something new to blog about soon!

My OCD on overdrive

Image
After working on it three nights, Tuesday about midnight (guess that makes it actually Wednesday), I finally finished my Christmas decorating. I don't even think I'm having a party this year, so I hope someone stops by to see it. Feels like such a waste just me seeing it. Yes, it's OCD on overdrive. All my ornaments are in a box with dividers, organized by color/shape. I take all the identical ornaments and space them around the tree. Then the next ones, then the next ones. There are 9 strings of lights on the tree alone. I have issues. I've done just Disney trees, Wizard of Oz, a blue theme with both mixed in, a red tree, a just purple tree, a just orange tree, then decided to do purple and teal with the orange mixed in. The orange was for Peyton because she got mad that I had a purple tree and that was Paige's favorite color too.
