Since going out on my own in March, I've branched out in some of the things I do myself vs. what members of my team did before. That includes social media management and graphics work. I think I am doing a good job in those areas for my clients, but my own accounts are still neglected to an extent. Hopefully, this summer, before I get neck deep in crafting for fall, I'll find some time to do better. I don't know who I'm kidding because I need to be starting the fall projects now. Maybe I'll at least work some of it in better.  I also need to make myself a PR website. I need it to showcase the projects I'm working on. I could outsource it, but I know I'm capable of doing it on my own. That's something that sooner or later I have to find the time for. My to-do list is a to-do book!

Strangely, I can't find where I have posted this song before. I usually grab the words off another post, but evidently, I haven't shared this one before. So very odd! This weekend, Dad cut a few books that are only going to be available locally in a retro shop here in Corsicana, Mid Century Mania. I will take online orders though, if anyone is interested. We're finally making use of some of the hoard in Dad's garage (not to be confused with my Readers Digest book hoard at my house).

Once I posted the photos of the Texas books on Facebook, we got requests for paws and musical notes for end of school gifting. We don't always take requests, depending on how busy we are, but it's the right week for it. We've gotten lots of orders for them. We have practiced with some crosses and will likely have some this weekend. We really want hymnals for those though. Dad also talked to the owner of a Retro shop here in town. We're working on some really funky, cool items that will be sold exclusively there for anyone local, and possibly online. We've kicked around ideas of other things to cut into books. We haven't done a lot of different things for various reasons. Mainly, we need to keep semi-streamlined because we do so much other stuff. However, on Monday, we started with doing Texas books because we have been asked about them. We started off with red and blue, and have those "in stock" as well as a few other colors. We've done custom orders as well.  For now, all Texas are on solid color books. Some of the patterned books have looser paper covers that make for potentially problematic cutting.  We will absolutely do these any any state! Let me know if you want to order one!
