Home Again

I very, very rarely go to the movies. There aren't a lot of movies I want to watch. Last weekend though, I found something I wanted to see, and I needed to get out of the house. Mom and I went to see Home Again.

There were five previews before the movie, and I can promise you that I will NEVER EVER see any of the five. I'm not into scary movies, shoot them up movies, or any kind of sci-fi movie. That narrows things down.

Home Again was just alright. It could have gone deeper into the source of Alice's unhappiness, gave more of a resolution and just had more meat to it. Things were unfinished with the trio of guys too. It seemed to be missing something, and Mom agreed. There were parts I laughed at, but I wouldn't call it a comedy. There were elements of romance, but it didn't really end up that way either. It was just meh.

There is a movie I have been waiting to come out for a while now. The Mountain Between Us based on Charles Martin's book. I want to see what they do with it. Will they include the parts from the book I thought were ridiculous? How will it translate to the screen? Based on when it comes out though, I don't know when I will have a chance to see it. It's going to be in middle of crazy craft show season.
