The Bachelorette: Tayshia: Week 7 Part 2: Take Whoever's Left

How incredibly shocking can tonight's finale be? Not very in my estimation.  Ben came back to tell her that he loved her. He's never felt like this for a woman before.  Yet, there's a reason why Tayshia sent him home.  Let's just pause for a moment to talk about how ludicrous it is that these people fall in love with the person they were supposed to fall in love with during this short time, especially this season.  Back to Tayshia. She wants to know why Ben told everyone else (basically, just Chris Harrison) that he was in love but wouldn't tell her. (Actually, he told his family friend on the hometown.) She wish she had heard it sooner because she was almost there.  Tayshia says he can come to the rose ceremony, but she's got enough on her plate.  When seeing him on his way, she kissed him, then asks herself why she did that.  Well, Tayshia, you see, it's because you have been kissing everyone for weeks. The rose ceremony... Ivan arrives.  Zack ...

The Bachelorette: Tayshia: Week 7: Not the Fantastical Fairytale

Of course, I didn't get my act together to start on time tonight, but at least my local ABC affiliate is back on DirecTV and can watch it without any weird internet glitches. Hallelujah, it's a Christmas miracle.  Tonight is the first of two nights wrapping up the season. Fantasy suites and meeting Tayshia's family.  She is coming off the high of "hometowns," but feeling the anxiety of the final stretch.  Zac points out how awkward it is to be around Brendan and Ivan now. Brendan talks about not wanting things to go bad again since he's had one divorce.  Tayshia talks with JoJo. There are positives but hesitations with all three. She does think she could fall in love with more than one person.  JoJo says it gets harder with overnights. She took all of her relationships to a higher level, but gave her some clearer pictures too.  Chris Harrison goes to talk to the guys. He hands out the first date card. Zac seems to be acting kind of the jerk today. Just comi...

The Bachelorette: Tayshia: Week 6/Night 2: The "Hometowns"

Alright, here we go. I'm trying to finish cooking dinner and starting to blog at the same time.  It's "Hometown" week, but due to quarantine, they've had to bring in some of their family to the resort instead of travel around the country. The men will be responsible for creating a date that would most reflect what their hometown would be. Brendan will be up first.  His brother, sister-in-law and niece are here to represent for him. His older brother was the closest thing he had to a dad after his father died. His brother is the most important person in his life. They may know him better than he knows himself.  And just to stress me out more than I've been today, I'm screwing with Locast again tonight. I'm having issues with it loading, so I'm just going to blog tomorrow when I can watch the episode online. No one is reading the blog right away anyway.  It is now Saturday night, and I'm just getting back around to blogging. One thing after anoth...

The Bachelorette: Tayshia: Week 6: Chop, Chop + Men Tell All

For the love! I forgot this week was going to be a two-nighter until about 10 minutes after the start. I could have been ready to blog on time too! Now, I've missed 15 minutes since I had to get the stupid Locast app to work on my TV since my local ABC station still can't get it together with DirecTV. If it were on the regular channel, watching the first and catching up during commercials wouldn't have been an issue. I'll have to come back and get the first part tomorrow.  via GIPHY As I join tonight's episode, Tayshia is sending Blake home. She thinks he's a good guy and has the good qualities, but she's more invested in other relationships. She is in tears as she walks him to the car to send him off.  Blake leaves saying she has no clue how crazy he was for her. She knows it was the right thing, but it hurt.  Some of the guys think Blake will be back. Some do not. They wonder if someone is coming in for Blake's bag, but it's Tayshia. She comes in s...

The Bachelorette: Tayshia: Week 5: The Producer's Pick

I got the app set up to watch The Bachelorette up and going on my TV just in time to watch, but it's a little spastic.  So Tayshia is tired of the teenage boy drama, and Bennett still denies that he knew there was an issue. Tayshia asks what's in the box. My TV blanked for a second. Tayshia asks Bennett if she wants to go out and talk. He says he doesn't know where to begin, so she decides she wants to.   She thinks there might be something there, but wants to know if Bennett has ever questioned her integrity. He denies, but says he did say that he told Noah there was no chance of him being there at the end. Tayshia says everyone is there for a reason and what he said does question who she is keeping around.  Bennett just points out that drama seems to follow Noah. He asks if he can better explain where the 0% chance comes from. He starts in on EQ (emotional quotient/emotional intelligence) and speaks to Noah's deficiencies. Bennett reiterates why he is there.  I ...

The Bachelorette: Tayshia: Week 4: Stop Stirring the Pot

I can not win for losing. I sit down just in time to start The Bachelorette, and ABC is not showing on my local station via DirecTV for some stupid contract negotiation. I use the stupid app they tell me to use, and still, cannot get the channel after activating on my computer. I have tried on both TVs that said it would activate and still no luck. Meanwhile 15 minutes of the most annoying "hold" music.  So, I'll have to come back for the first 15 minutes when I can get it somewhere online later. I'll update the post then. I join mid-date with Zac who has the first one-on-one.  via GIPHY They do a photoshoot in bridalwear. They jump on a trampoline taking ridiculous pictures. Then, they have a picnic.  Tayshia talks about it isn't the first time she wore a wedding dress since she has been married before (for about two years). Zac says he was married before for about a year. When he acts weird, he says it's because she takes his breath away.  Zac is a lot of t...

The Bachelorette: Tayshia: Week 2: An Obviously Scripted Episode

Hey! I actually quit work, ate and was ready to start on time tonight. That's an achievement.  I'm hoping this goes by quick. The second group date of Tayshia's first week is with Montel, Ivan, Demar, Ben, Chasen, Ed, Joe and Bennett. It's the first time for these guys to really see her since the first night.  Two of Tayshia's friends lined up today's date, so supposedly, she doesn't know what is happening. They are in what looks like a classroom. They are going to do a Grown Man Challenge. Ash Kardash and her man Jared are leading the challenge.  Tayshia is looking for a smart man, so the men will be tested in math and spelling. The first question calculates time. Bennett went to Harvard and thinks he is smart, but gets the first question wrong. And the second. He argues the wording of the word problem. Next is spelling. Limousine. Bennett can't spell either. Demar went to Arizona State and did better. That was his point, not mine. Nothing against ASU. ...
