Jesus Loves the Little Children

Today was promotion day at church. Because of the number of kids each age this time around, we have 2nd and 3rd graders. It's kind of funny to see how much younger they seem than the ones that just left the 3rd grade. Of course, some of them were old beyond their age! :)  Before that, I had 3rd-5th, so it will take a little getting used to.

It's funny how they do already get my humor. They seemed entertained by the idea of getting thumped in the head for bad behavior and look forward to their own group of nicknames. I have two cousins that have already been told one of the rules I had for another cousin of theirs 5 years ago. "You can't talk about all your cousins in class." (That was the year every kid in the room had their own rule. She laughed when I told her I had to pull out the rule on the little ones today.)

Here's our first video! Some aren't too big on the idea of being in a video yet.

Jesus Loves the Little Children
Words by C. Herbert Woolston

Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow
Black and white
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus loves the little children
Of the world.

Jesus died for all the children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow
Black and white
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus died for all the children
Of the world.

Jesus rose for all the children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow
Black and white
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus rose for all the children
Of the world.
