Harper Collins Christian Publishing best-selling authors Colleen Coble, Tricia Goyer and Beth Wiseman will host a live Christmas-themed Facebook chat on November 12 at 8:00 PM EDT. During the hour-long event to kick off the holiday season, the authors will be introducing readers to their new releases and holiday titles, answering reader questions and giving away prizes.

“One of my favorite things about Christmas is spending time with friends. I'm excited about coming together with writer friends and readers in this event,” says Goyer. It's always fun to laugh, to share life and to celebrate together . . . despite the miles.”

Starting November 1, for the 12 days leading up to the author chat, a different book will be featured in a daily giveaway on the Thomas Nelson & Zondervan Fiction Facebook page (tnzfiction), including Goyer’s A Christmas Gift for Rose, Wiseman’s Plain Peace and Coble’s eNovellas Holy Night and Silent Night. Ten copies of each book will be given away and three grand prize winners from all of the entries received will be selected. The three grand prizes will be a Skype chat with Coble, Goyer or Wiseman as well as a full set of all 12 featured books. The12 Days of Christmas Celebration and author chat will be held and promoted in conjunction with a 20-stop blog tour being coordinated by Litfuse Publicity Group.

“In the publishing world, Christmas starts in late summer, when we start finalizing plans for our holiday promotions,” explains Katie Bond, Director of Marketing & Publicity, Fiction, Thomas Nelson & Zondervan. “Great Christmas stories are an important part of many families’ holiday traditions, and it’s always exciting for us to present new titles to the world and remind readers of the holiday classics that continue to touch hearts every year. We’re thrilled to launch this 12 Days of Christmas Celebration!”

In addition to discussing their new releases, the authors will be sharing their favorite Christmas traditions, chatting with readers, asking holiday-related trivia questions and giving away books and gift certificates. The winners of the grand prizes from the contest will also be announced at the end of the evening.

The authors are as excited for the Facebook event as their readers. “Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, but it's especially wonderful now that I have a granddaughter! Yummy food, lots of laughter and the warmth of family and friends — I can't wait to share a bit of early Christmas cheer with my reader friends,” Coble shares.

“I'm so excited to be involved in this Facebook chat with Colleen and Tricia,” adds Wiseman. “In addition to the fun giveaways, it's always great to connect with readers. I'm really looking forward to it!”

Readers can RSVP to the Facebook chat any time between now and November 12 by visiting the Thomas Nelson & Zondervan Fiction Facebook page. All fans are encouraged to invite their friends to join in the fun.
