So glad I'm not blogging on Bachelor in Paradise

Have you caught Bachelor in Paradise this week?  I'm so glad I decided not to blog about it. I've been watching, but it is the most nutty mess of an attempt at relationship building.  First of all, the men and women both are the most outlandish, overacting group of cast-offs, amped up and cued up to be even more over the top. It's all the people I never liked in the first place. Why do I want to cheer them on now? There are a few that I barely remember, but it's mostly Arie and Becca's seasons.  Secondly, most of the women are so desperate for love, they believe this is the one and only way to happiness. If they aren't overacting, they need a therapist in the worst way. They are so pathetic. Then, it's fruit basket turnover about every thirty minutes as they switch from one person to another. I can't keep up watching it, much less trying to keep up in a way anyone reading could understand it.  So, I'm watching, but watching to see ...

Be a pineapple

Image
Instead of blogging about Bachelor in Paradise which is beyond stupid and pointless, especially this season, I spent time out in my studio working on one of my pineapple canvases. After a Monday that seemed less than productive -- at least less productive than I wanted it to be -- I needed to be creative.

This is my non-blog on #bachelorinparadise

This is my blog post to say I am officially not blogging on Bachelor in Paradise  which Chris Harrison promises really is the "Most dramatic and shocking season ever." I currently have the TV on and tuned into BIP as I am catching up on some other blog posts and possibly some crafty business stuff tonight. I may or may not watch the season through. I find there are a number of shows I have lost interested in because I simply don't have the mental energy. That is especially true after work today. (Actually, the past few weeks. I'm just so busy.) Besides, I don't have the readership on my Bachelor blogs unless I really push it, and I don't have the time to do that. Like me, I'm not sure anyone cares anymore. These people here are too raunchy for words, worse than they were on the seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette were. Plus it's produced for drama, and I can't handle recapping self-created drama. Life has enough of that. The world woul...

The finale of #thebachelorette was not a shocker

I don't really think there is going to be a surprise when it comes to what happens at the end of the night on The Bachelorette. So what if Rachel has a running commentary through the evening on the set of After the Final Rose ? No one believes she has anything going on with Eric. She wants an official engagement which Peter hasn't been ready for. She's been into Bryan from the get go, whether I have gotten it or not. Rachel is kind of nervous watching it back. She hasn't watched his episode back and usually watches by herself. This all went down in May. The three men are all watching in their own rooms with nervous faces like they don't know how it all went down. Maybe they said something to the cameras that they didn't say to Rachel and area about to get busted. I just saw a Tweet from Chris Harrison that was a few hours ago about the rehearsal for the live show. I'm not sure what there was to rehearse, so how genuine is all this going to be? Chris ...

You are going to have to speak up!

Alright readers... If you are reading my blogs on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette you need to speak up. I'm seriously thinking that I am not going to blog weekly when the next season starts, and most definitely not during Bachelor in Paradise . I've been blogging every episode since the summer of 2013, but I just don't know if anyone is reading or cares. If I hear that people still do, I'll keep it up. I do need blog content and variety. If not, last week's season finale will be the last one (at least for a while) once I get it posted. GIVE ME FEEDBACK!

Whatever am I going to blog about the next few months on Monday nights?

There will be no more Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, etc. until January. Whatever am I going to blog about on Mondays for the next few months?  I'm already going to have some trouble filling my blog for the rest of the month.  I saw online where Luke was supposed to be the next Bachelor and that right before they announced it, they kicked him out to bring Nick in. Turns out since people started liking Nick a little bit more, they thought it would be a bigger draw. I would have gone for Luke. He seemed more normal. I want to see people that are more normal. Obviously, that doesn't make for good TV though. The fall TV season will be starting soon, so I need to pick some new shows to watch. I do have the opportunity to do some TV reviews and/or summaries on a new website that also reviews books. We'll see how that goes!

I predict exactly ZERO of these #BachelorInParadise make it to a wedding

Tonight we pick up with the regrets and doubts of the morning after final dates. I know there will be proposals even if there doesn't have to be, but I doubt anyone makes it down the aisle. By "doesn't have to be," I mean that yes, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette  end in proposals, but who said the expectation at the end of Bachelor in Paradise had to mean engagement just because Jade and Tanner got engaged. Evan and Carly are happy. Evan is trying to write poetry or rap or something. He's rhyming anyway. Grant and Lace seem to be regretting more than their tattoos. He's not sure now that he wants to be engaged. Lace thinks they probably won't make it if they don't get engaged. Do or don't, they probably won't. Nick and Jen have a nice breakfast in bed. She feels good with where they are at. She sees a proposal at the end and wants to leave Paradise holding hands with Nick. He loves everything about her, and evidently thinks it is bette...

The last week of #bachelorinparadise

Over the last two nights of  Bachelor in Paradise , we know who is not getting engaged. While Nick is seen picking out his third ring in last week's previews, we have since found out he's going to be the next Bachelor. I've never been a fan of Nick. Never ever. I would have much rather seen Luke or Chase from last season be the new man in charge. However, maybe if Nick finally has his own season, we'll be done with him. Until he doesn't choose anyone and it's Brad Womack all over again. Anyway... The show begins with Grant and Lace lounging around, talking. Lace is scared, but Grant tells her it's because it's real. Jen is falling in love with Nick, but she thinks he's being closed off because of the past. It's the end of the season, but Tiara the chicken enthusiast shows up with a date card to shake things up. "Tiara, you are the last to arrive. Don't cluck it up." Nick is willing to talk to her because he is the welcom...

If Ashley ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

There is so much reality TV on tonight that I'm really looking forward to watching. Honestly, Bachelor in Paradise is on the eh, let's-get-it-over-with train tonight. I watched the first 5 or so minutes while finishing my dinner, and it went a little something like this... Caila goes to Jared after talking to Ash Kardash, and basically says, "I've had enough. It's too hard being here with Ashley. I am going home." Jared volunteers to go with her, but says he needs to talk to Ashley first. Caila says something along the lines of, "I don't need to talk to anyone else. I'm outta here." Jared wastes his time talking to Ash who is making up stuff about Caila for no other reason than Caila is with Jared and she isn't. Cuz if Ashley ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. She thinks Caila is the kind of person who just wants attention. Pot calling the kettle black. Ash just wants to protect him, blah, blah, blah. Villain. You don't ...

This season of #bachelorinparadise is getting old.

Another night of Bachelor in Paradise, another day with Ash Kardash drama.  Caila wants to talk to Ash after having a conversation with Jared. Caila says Jared questions her feelings, which Ash says is Caila's problem. Caila says she gets that Ash and Jared are close, but she loves him like a sister. That's the most low-keyed dig she's ever heard. Caila is like, "the two of us don't have to talk for the rest of our time here." That's going to be awkward, but hey, Ash is the one who can't be mature enough to take a hint. Jared talks to Ash next. "You talk to Caila?" Jared is like, "I don't think you want to see me hurt, but there's more between me and Caila..." Here comes Ash's tears again. "It's demoralizing. I can't go on." Jared's such a nice guy, he says, "you shouldn't feel stupid. Here's the point of everything, for better or worse, I need to figure this out on my own. I...

Enough is enough! #bachelorinparadise

Tonight's dramatic new episode of Bachelor in Paradise . Some of these people need to be weeded out. Ashley needs to be really sent home and no one let her come back. It's morning, and everyone is talking about Izzy. Everyone thought she and Vinny were the tightest couple there, but Izzy wants to see if anything is there with Brett. Here's Carly in her infinite wisdom reminding viewers that she was caught off guard way too late last year with Kirk. Vinny goes and finds Izzy to have a heart to heart. He thought they were on the same page, but the look on her face is saying, "oh, please." Izzy said she was on the same page until Brett, a guy she doesn't know, walked in. Now she thinks maybe they weren't after all. Now they are both crying. Everyone on this show cries. Vinny tells her that he is going home. She wants him to stay. Let's see if the crowd talks him into it.  Izzy loves him and thinks he deserves more than what she just did.  ...

Go home! No, you go home! #bachelorinparadise

So, I get in from having dinner out with my parents and sit down to start Bachelor in Paradise forty minutes late so live Tweeting is out. That's ok. One less thing to pull my attention away and I can fast forward through the commercials. Suddenly, my head starts to ache. It must be the mere thought of watching. I'm into self-inflicted torture, obviously. Tonight starts with Ashley I aka Ash Kardash crying her eyes out because Jared's just not that into her. Jared has his head in his hands, probably crying himself. Ash is going on about a glimmer. Jared angrily asks, "so why did you come?" "To get over you." Jared is ready to go home, letting her know that this is unfair to both of them to have to go through all this. Ash tells him that every time he walks out of a room she misses him. Pathetic. Jared tells Ash Kardash that he likes Caila, he's been as blunt as he can, he cares for her, but not romantically. "Are you sure you'r...

The tearful and obsessed arrive on #BachelorInParadise

So, Evan is not the only person who can't take a hint. Ash Kardash is back in Paradise and once again after Jared. I feel sorry for the guy. Tonight, with the show open, I realize that the show really doesn't need Chris Harrison at all. Of course, Ashley I. aka Ash Kardash because she reminds me of a Kardashian, gets a date card. She tells Chris Harrison that she and Jared are really good friends, but it will never be "just friends" for her. She says they have had nothing going on the past 5 months or more. She doesn't know why they aren't together. I do. Chris asked her about her crying. She says her goal is to only cry three times. "A day?" he asks. All together. When she arrives, Jared has to put on his fake happy face and give her a hug. The whole vibe changes. She immediately asks to take Jared off. She asks what has been going on. He said he started off with Emily, but he's into Caila as of yesterday. She's trying not to cry. ...

No one on #bachelorinparadise really knows what they want

So, we start the evening right where we left off. Evan is wandering the beach after being Friend-Zoned by Carly. So he made himself a date card, and walks in to break up a full fledged make-out session between Josh and Amanda. Josh is laughing at what a lame move this was. Evan and Amanda go off to the treehouse Evan has set up for his special date. It's 50 shades of awkward. Evan confesses that he came here for Amanda, he respects Josh fully, but wants to see if she thinks something might could possibly happen. Jorge feels sorry for the very bored Josh, I guess and brings him some pizza.  Amanda tells Evan she was surprised by him the first week, but wants to give Josh and that relationship her full attention. Evan says he understands, but couldn't walk away without a rose, wondering "what if." In his own camera interview, Evan talks about interrupting the "makeout sesh." Really going to call it that? The idiot still sees a glimmer of hope. Whe...

Bored in Paradise

Thankfully, tonight's episode of Bachelor in Paradise is only an hour long because A) I don't want to blog longer than that for sure and B) Peyton and some friends are over tonight. I don't want to be overly present, but I don't want to ignore them either. To start the morning, Jared or someone is trying to count his abs? Is it 5? Josh and Amanda are going after it way too early in the morning. Nick swears to Daniel that he's not mad. Yeah, right. I'm going to say what I have said before... parents should not go on this show. Period. If they do, they need to be more responsible that to get with any and everyone. Sarah has a compliment Daniel session. He wants to take her on a date whether he gets the card or not. Poor Sarah may just be taking any attention she gets. A rare night arrival comes on the scene. It's Christian from JoJo's season. He opens his date card. "Who are you falling for. Choose a date." The girls all find him attr...

Not Carly's idea of Paradise, that's for sure. #bachelorinparadise

I should be watching the Olympics. Instead, I'm watching Bachelor in Paradise. Well, at least I can fast forward through all the commercials and sports I am not as interested in when I watch it later. So, tonight, we start off seeing if Chad actually left after Chris Harrison sent him off. While everyone is cheering his exit (that was deja vu), Chad is throwing a hissy fit. He can't figure out what it is he's going to do with his life after this. He is eating lunch meat on his way out, furnished in the car, of course. He also kicks himself for drinking the first night. The women whine that Chad leaving does mean one less rose, and now one more girl will go home. More competition arrives. Leah from Ben's season. The twins muse how different she looks. She does. Like unrecognizable. The twins think she is going to bring the tornado of drama. Well, she thinks she and Lace are friends, but Lace disagrees Leah arrives with a date card. "Leah, it's finally time...
