Thank goodness I took a look at Facebook

It's a good thing I was skimming Facebook, or I would have forgotten to spring my clock forward. I've thought about it all week, but I'm going to blame it on inhaling paint fumes all day.

I was up until 1 AM getting my living room taped to paint today. I woke up with sore shoulders and neck after doing just that much. Also, since I didn't get to sleep until after 2:00, I wasn't in a big hurry to get started this morning.

Before painting, I knew I was going to need more plug plates to replace the old ones I was taking off. These are antique brass, but they are rather old and dingy. So, I went to Home Depot and bought 20 more wall plug plates. I've been replacing them all and thus far have bought 60 between switch place, double switch plates, etc. I may have a few left over before it's all said and done. Or I may not. One things for sure, this house has a lot of plugs. A lot. Part of that is because there were outlets added at one time that are grounded plugs vs. the old two slot plugs. There's still a lot of them too.

After painting from about 11 to 6 today, I am so sore from getting up and down from the step stool and my wrists, elbows, shoulders and neck hurt from painting. I took two Advil a little while ago and hope that holds out for some period of time. I'm more worried about being too sore to sleep than to simply lose an hour for Daylight Savings Time. I'm about to head downstairs and put on my pajamas.

I picked up something to eat earlier, and came up to my computer to watch an episode of Switched at Birth from earlier this week. It was all in sign language, so I couldn't listen to it while working like I usually do.

I think I'm going to read for a while. One thing is for sure. I won't be crocheting because typing right now even hurts.

But, it's going to be worth it when I take down all the paint tomorrow (going to have to score it all with a knife first because it seems like all I did is paint the tape to the trim all day), put on my new switch plates, but my furniture back in place, hang the curtains with the right brackets and hang pictures. Then, my living room will feel more like home.
