A Christmas trip to the movies? Probably not.

The other day, I don't recall what day, Dad mentioned something about whether or not we would do a trip to the movies this year. What had been a Christmas Eve tradition for me, Mom and Dad hasn't happened the past couple of years. We rarely go to the movies because there isn't much we really want to see. Then, we need to generally agree.

I don't know if we will or we won't.

One thing for sure: We won't be seeing The Last Jedi. None of us care about anything Star Wars. We don't do superhero movies either, so that rules out Justice League.

I refuse to watch what I deem "stupid movies," so I cross Father Figures off the list. Given we haven't seen the first two, Pitch Perfect 3 seems off the list.

The only reason I would watch Downsizing is because I have a thing for Matt Damon. I'm conflicted. I like him, but it seems kind of stupid. It can't be as bad as Contagion which I ONLY saw because he was in it (and I was trying to entertain myself while going around Branson by myself).

I take the "kind of stupid" back. It looks really stupid. I think I'd rather watch The Martian as recorded on my DVR again.

The other choice is Ferdinand. I would not be surprised if that was on Dad's list.

Yeah, I don't think we'll be going.

A few months ago, I REALLY wanted to go see The Mountain Between Us. As of today, it's on the "Get it Early" option on DirecTV.  That's really tempting, but I can't see paying $16.99 to watch it at home. Guess I need to be a little more patient on that one.
