Thou Shalt Not Go Into the Birds and Bee-zies, Bee-zies

On Sunday morning, we were singing the Arky Arky song in Bible class. (The Lord said to Noah, there's going to be a floody, floody...)

I printed out the verses a couple of weeks ago to have ready when we got around to singing it. I needed some help with all the verses in the right order. Though I remember some of them, I know I couldn't do them all off the top of my head. I didn't read what I printed out until singing them in class.

Here's a new verse I have never seen before and skipped...

"The animals they came out, they came out by threesies, threesies... must have been those birds and beesies, beesies..."

Not prepared to explain that. Inquisitive kindergartners would get to asking about that and I'm not prepared to go there. I'm sure the parents appreciate that too. I told a few about it.

Besides the fact that it refers to mating, the Bible never tells us that the animals ever came out in more than pairs. Another reason not to go there.

In case you would like to have the words to this song, here they are courtesy of www.childbiblesongs.com
