This could be an interesting weekend

Thankfully my dad's family reunion will be over tomorrow. He needs a hobby because without one, he obsesses. He's close to have driven Mom crazy, and when that happens, they both drive me nuts, so I stay away.

We'll see who of the relatives that actually speak to each other comes.

Then, my mom is moaning on about something related to her family. I guess I prepare myself for the other side next.

Depending on how the day progresses, Jenny graduates from her occupational therapy program tomorrow. I'm going to try to get into town for it. She's trying to persuade me to come by saying, "the Yankee will probably be there."

"You trying to tempt me?"

"It's probably about time he met the friends.

WHAT??? Not sure that's ever happened. I-n-t-e-r-e-s-t-i-n-g. Especially given the poor report he got after the first date.

Let me just say, I am not changing names to protect the innocent. Jenny never calls him by name to me. It's always "the Yankee." I did ask his real name. I think it's Kyle.

Tomorrow may be a day worthy of more than one blog post. Both activities could provide some great material. We shall see.
